The Shimano RD-M310 Altus SGS Rear Derailleur Black is a 7/8-speed MTB-style component group for city, sport, and youth bikes. In addition to excellent cost performance, ALTUS provides a feeling of "easy control" that inspires confidence, especially among novice cyclists and younger riders.

Altus mountain bike rear derailleur with light action operation and over-size pulleys for a wide gear choice. Oversize 13/15-tooth tension and guide pulleys to reduce noise and wear. Extension spring and low-friction fluorine-coated link pivot bushing result in a light shifting action. For use with Rapidfire shiftersIG and HG chain, 7- and 8-speed. Compatible with 28 to 34 tooth low rear sprockets. Total capacity is 43 teeth.
